From generations, since 1924, our family deals with foodstuff trade , the start was when our forefather and his sons opened their own stores as wholesalers in the traditional main foodstuff trade market of Aleppo (Bab Al-Jenein), this ancient famous souk in Aleppo old city was one of the important trade centers in Syria and across the Silk road because it was serving Aleppo region and entire Syria with neighbor countries. In 1987, our Chairman of board Mr. Naiim Hamamji, have decided to continue with this heritage and tradition but by organizing a new firm to conform with the modern time and to exceed the wholesalers step, therefore he established our first private company, this company flourished and multiplied with several commercial names according to its growth and activities in the export-import, foodstuff distributing domain. And now, after these long years of experience and hard working, HAMAMJI GROUP developed to be one of the leading foodstuff distributors in Syria and continuously evolving to meet the dynamic challenges of the markets and world.

2- Policy:

Our strategy based on a strict rule, that we should offer the best quality goods, therefore we deal with the best Syrian products, and to extend our activities to the famous International Companies by introducing their best and new commodities whenever possible with our Syrian import regulations, and by any possible mutual cooperation in exporting the Syrian products or producing some products in Syria under their License.

3- Group Structure:

Hamamji Group is entirely owned by the Family members, it consist of several sister companies and departments each one has its own field. Mr. Naiim Hamamji the founder is the Chairman of board, his Son Mr. Fares Hamamji, occupy the vice chairman and the General Director positions. With our board of qualified Managers who have the high experience, challenge tendency and team working ability with the good staff, we all work in our group as a family members.

4- Facilities and Main activities:

Our premises are very well equipped with top technology facilities the matter that give us more flexibility, quick response and good control for our activities. It is a complex including our head offices, main warehouse, cooling and freezing stores, fleet service garage and station, Loading and packing station, gardens and rest facility. Currently, we are acting in three lines in the foodstuff and consumer goods trade:
1. Marketing and distributing through a wide network covering entire Syrian Districts, directly by our delegates and fleet, and by our agents in districts, the matter that we are covering entire regions and customers with a best and soonest service.
2. Foreign and local Agencies and Import – Export activities.
3. Investments and logistical cooperation with Local food stuff producers, manufacturers, traders, to insure our target and the quality of our products and services.

5- Our customers:

Wholesalers, retail dealers, Supermarkets, Restaurants, Hotels, Hospitals, Cooperatives, etc., and any location or any firm whatever was its size where we feel that they evaluate our goods quality and need our services.

6- Private Brands:

We have several private brands as FARESCO, BASITA, ODESSA. Our customers deal with them as a quality certification for the products labeled under, because we carefully choice our suppliers and best possible goods could be buy.
